HOW TO BUILD A COFFIN


This was our entry for a Red Bull sponsored contest promoting Django Unchained. Had to use at least 30 seconds of music and footage they provided. Chose “Knights of Shame” by AWOLNATION and a clip from the original 1966 Django. In said film, the titular character drags a coffin containing a Gatling gun around. Thought that was a great image and used it as a jumping off point for my entry. Soon realized that I would… you know… need a coffin. Also realized that building a casket in a New Jersey basement was more interesting than any skit I could’ve come up with. Thus, the behind-the-scenes of our “sweded” tribute became the actual video. Enjoy!
